fall at home, images from around the house

There's is just the right amount of fall in my house now.  I love repurposing old decorations and discarded items into new new treasures.  The jute wrapped wine bottles are filled with silk leaves from an old flower arrangement.  If you're interested in the jute wrapping technique, find your trusty glue gun and pick up some jute string from a local Home Depot...I have been wrapping jute around everything.   I love the look of natural fibers and glass.

I like how you put the jute just in the middle...when I did this I covered the whole wine bottle. I really like the contrast on yours.
Have a great day!

Pretty, pretty. I love the jute wrapped around the wine bottles. And just a little autumn colour in my house is enough for me, too.

I'm with you, love to see a little textured jute or rope around stuff. Your decor is so pretty. :)
