S-P-R-I-N-G

Spring has definitely been in the air here. Last night, I made this quick little banner to add a little spring flair on the mantle and to inspire me to create some springtime projects.

This banner was super easy.
2 pieces of scrapbook paper
hemp twine
s-p-r-i-n-g cutouts
8 petal or egg-shaped cutouts
my new cutter bee scissors, i bought my pair at Target for 6.99

For the SPRING cutouts, I used the font Nautik Black, which is among the 35 free fonts located here.  This site is a great location for fun, unique fonts for FREE.

I mounted the letters to cardstock for a little weight, punched a few holes, strung everything on the twine, and, viola, a little inspiration banner.

I love a craft that I can make in an hour or less with only a couple of materials.

  Here's a little S-P-R-I-N-G for you.

Hoping it's sunny wherever you are....

Thanks, Lori! I thrifted the tall and medium-sized candlesticks and the small gold ones I bought on clearance at Target. I love a bargain...
