Yesterday, I purchased a bunch of bright pink carnations and white daisies from my neighborhood florist. While I could have gotten them for less at the local grocer, I don't mind spending a couple extra dollars to support a local small business and I love the smell of a tiny florist shop. All of the aromas from the flower varieties and fresh greenery are the best potpourri.
With the sunshine from the past couple of days and the fresh flowers around the house, I can feel spring coming soon.
